Our Goal

In East Africa, 77% of the population lives in rural areas, where educational and socioeconomic disparities create significant barriers for children. In these communities, students often receive an education that doesn't equip them with the skills they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world. The challenges are profound: overcrowded classrooms with a student-to-teacher ratio of 56:1, limited resources, and outdated teaching methods, including the use of physical discipline to manage behavior. As a result, core subjects like Math, English, and Science often have dismal learning outcomes, and access to digital education is virtually nonexistent. For girls, the situation is even more difficult, as they face the added pressures of school fees and household responsibilities.

This cycle of underachievement leaves many children unprepared for the opportunities of a connected world, perpetuating poverty and stifling their potential—even for the brightest students.​
