Since 2023, the Gavin and Barnard families have been working closely with Zawadi Yetu in Mogotio, Kenya, where they have seen firsthand the immense gap between students’ dreams, and the opportunities available to achieve them. At Zawadi Yetu, however, they discovered a child-centered, future-forward approach to education that empowers students, promotes academic excellence, and opens doors to brighter futures.
Our Goal
Friends of Zawadi seeks to provide K-12 students in Kenya and East Africa with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital age. Help us break the cycle of poverty and empower the next generation of change-makers.
